Well that’s fine if that’s what works for them, but earner/nuturer “roles” should not and WILL not be dictated by gender in a modern, high tec, secular society. Furthermore, those men who want their women to stay at home had better be wealthy enough to fund the marriage and the divorce. I agree about not falling into the societal expectation of gender roles. The problem is that women of my generation(i’m 29) refuse to do ANYTHING that was previously considered a female role i.e Cooking, cleaning etc. They now expect the man to do everything and still be the provider as well. A close male family member of mine is going through this with his wife and a female sibling of mine is now like this. They don’t want 50/50 they want the men to do EVERYTHING.
